You desire freedom and self expression but are confined by a relationship that keeps you suppressed and controlled by a domineering and interfering family. Family support was desirable in the early stages of your partnership it supported you financially and with good advice which has been long standing. Your relationship is closely intertwined with the whole family of your spouse and they have influence over all aspects of your life. They dictate how you should behave and what you should do and insist that it's for your own good, which causes you to feel frustrated and anxious. You are witness to continuous family drama, intrigue and jealousy. Being part of this group has provided you with support whenever you needed it and although you desire individuality you are afraid to upset or hurt any one that cares about you. You also know personal family secretes and aspects that would cause embarrassment if you where to leave the confines of the family network. You are also deeply concerned about the damaging to your reputation and social professional status that a divorce or an affair would cause to every one.
